Participants required for Inaugural benchmark survey.
Research analyst and consulting firm, Strategies For Growth℠ (SFG), has launched its inaugural 2020 Remote Expertise Benchmark Survey and is looking for insight from the service sector.
This survey represents the first of what will become a series of annual tracking surveys that provide drill-down insight into the Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) Servitization Journey as defined by survey respondents.
Similar to SFG℠’ s past surveys, the Remote Expertise survey is designed as a targeted, multiple choice questionnaire that takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All responses will remain strictly confidential, and will only be tabulated and reported in the aggregate.
For the purposes of the survey, SFG℠ define "Remote Expertise" as "Using technology to provide expert assistance to technicians/customers in another location via two-way (synchronous) communication”.
In slightly more detail, services organizations are now able to provide assistance to technicians in the field (and customers) through digital service support channels such as Remote Video and Augmented Reality-based communications, and IoT visualizations. Therefore, "Remote Expertise" may also be defined as: "Using existing mobile devices (iOS, Android) or a Web-browser, to empower trained experts to visually collaborate with a colleague or customer as though they were working side-by-side".
At the close of the survey, you will automatically be directed to a landing page that provides complimentary access to an Analysts Take Executive Summary of the results from SFG℠'s 2019 Servitization Benchmark Survey conducted earlier in the year.
In addition, if respondents provide their name, title, company and e-mail address, SFG℠ will be happy to forward them a copy of the topline survey results in a complimentary executive-level Analysts Take – Summary Report to be published following completion of the data collection and analysis.
Simply click on the following link to begin the survey, or, if you prefer, you may forward it to someone else in your organization to complete: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020REX-FSN
President and Principal Consulting Analyst at SFG℠ and regular contributor to these pages, Bill Pollock, will be offering a summary of the key-executive-level results of the survey later on in the year for Field Service News.
