ServiceNow have announced the appointment of former SAP head Bill McDermott.

McDermott's position has been confirmed just two weeks after he left SAP, while ServiceNow's John Donahue has taken up a position at global sportswear giant Nike.

McDermott, who joined SAP in 2004, will complete his move by the end of this year, following a handover period where he will operate in an advisory role. Donahoe meanwhile, will maintain his place on ServiceNow's board until 2020.
